Aviva Community Fund

26 August 2020

Over the last twelve years at Warwickshire Young Carers we have developed our Schools Work project, working with schools to raise awareness and develop support for young carers within their school.

The current funding for this project ends in December. Despite this, it is our ambition to expand our work to create communities across Warwickshire which are Young Carer Aware, enabling young carers to feel supported and understood.

We are pleased to have been awarded an opportunity to fundraise via the Aviva Community Fund for our ‘Communities Supporting Young Carers’ project.  Aviva has a pot of money for their employees to pledge to projects of their choice, through this platform we can also receive donations from the general public.

We realise that not everyone is able to donate however, the smallest donation will make a huge difference.

To help us achieve success please share the page widely across your networks because the more people who see it, the more successful we are likely to be in our fundraising efforts.

Having visited the page and watched the video from our young carers and their families, if you have any more questions about the project please contact Amy (Education Development Worker), amy@warwickshireyoungcarers.org.uk.
