Young Carers Action Day 2026!

On Young Carers Action Day 2026, we were proud to celebrate and support young carers across Warwickshire. This year’s theme, Fair Futures for Young Carers, highlights the importance of making sure young carers have the same opportunities as their peers to learn, grow and thrive. Young Carers Action Day took place on Wednesday 11 March 2026 and is led by Carers Trust.

To mark the day, our young carers planted sunflowers together in their groups as a symbol of hope, strength and growth. As the sunflowers begin to grow, they will remind us of the bright futures every young carer deserves and of the importance of recognition, support and opportunity. This was our way of celebrating young carers, raising awareness of their experiences, and standing behind the message of Fair Futures for Young Carers.
