Stratford Young Carers Welcomed to the Town Hall

30 September 2026

Four Young Carers from Stratford District received a very special invitation to visit Stratford Town Hall from the Mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon, Sam McNaught Barrow.

The group enjoyed afternoon tea in the Mayor’s Chambers, where they had time to talk, catch up and enjoy some delicious chocolate brownies.

The visit was a lovely opportunity to recognise the Young Carers and the valuable support they provide to loved ones at home. We hope they felt proud to have their contributions acknowledged and celebrated in such a special setting.

Thank you to the Mayor for the kind invitation and warm welcome. We would also like to thank our wonderful volunteers, Sue and Faith, for accompanying the group and helping to make the visit possible.
