As government restrictions continue to ease Warwickshire Young Carers are pleased to announce that we are gradually opening up Groups to all our young carers and we are really looking forward to seeing you all.
While the regulations no longer require us to limit bubble sizes to a maximum number of attendees, we will be working to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone at Group. The size of Group may vary from one venue and Group to another.
We understand that individual families will have their own feelings about returning to groups based on their own circumstances and we do urge you to get in touch if we can help in answering any questions.
We will text out regularly asking that 'No-one at home, or you have had contact with have shown any symptoms or had a recent positive COVID PCR test' and appreciate hearing back from you.
Should a Young Carer or Young Adult Carer show symptoms following a Group session, please let us know so we can then inform the wider Group.
Zoom Groups, outdoor activities and targeted one-to-ones will also continue.
Unfortunately, staff are still unable to provide transport to Groups. If it is not possible for your child to get to group, please get in touch.
The code of conduct for face-to-face provision can be found here.
Your young carers worker will let you know what the arrangements are in your area for your age group
From the 2nd of December in accordance with new guidance for Youth Clubs and Activities we will need everyone over the age of 11 to wear a mask at our indoor groups and activities unless medically exempt.
